Internet casino game developer Playtech has announced that they've signed a content deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and will develop a series of new slots based on the 1960's Batman television series.
The deal will see Playtech putting out slots based on the show, which will be released by the end of this year. The company will also put out games next year based on Superman and the Green Lantern, as properties based on the films Superman I, Superman II, Man of Steel, and the Green Lantern are all forthcoming.
The first game to be released is called Batman & The Joker Jewels, which is a 5 reel, 25 payline game that will see Batman facing off against The Joker. The game will contain a Joker Random Wild Feature, and a win multiplier that is constantly changing.
The second announced game is Batman & Catwoman Cash, which has a Cat Burglar In-Reel Bonus, free spins, scatter symbols, and win multipliers of up to 5x the wagered amount.
Commenting on the deal Playtech COO Shimon Akad said, "Our announcement at ICE this year generated significant global demand in anticipation for the launch of these exciting DC branded games. "I'm extremely proud of our collaboration between Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Playtech's innovative development studios. The Batman Classic TV Series games, that will rapidly be followed by Superman I, Superman II, and Man of Steel and a whole host of other DC Super Hero branded games, are a premium addition to our best-performing range of the industry's leading progressive jackpot slot content and will provide our licensees and DC Super Hero fans with the ultimate Batman gaming experience."

Who doesn't heard of Batman, It suppose to be a great deal for Playtech and I hope they will benefit from that by creating great series of games because the Batman name sells right away, I like the fact that the slots would be based on the classic Batman TV series, it's a great theme for a slot.
I mean, Playtech has so many slots inspired by comics and tv movies so it's not that surprising. I don't really play Platech games anymore but I'd be interested in trying these Batman themed games.
