Net Ent to Offer Games in Italian Retail Market

This story was published more than 7 years ago.

Online game developer Net Ent has announced that it has signed a content supply deal with Merkur Gaming Italia, and will offer its games to retail outlets in the Italian market.

Merkur Gaming Italia Managing Director Roberto Migliozzi commented, noting: "I'm delighted to announce that NetEnt games content will soon be available in our games portfolio of Italian Comma 6a machines."

Merkur Gaming is a subsidiary of German betting giant Gauselmann, and will see Net Ent's games licensed to the slot developer, which will then in turn offer games throughout the country. There are currently 3,000 Merkur slots throughout Italy, and the agreement will also see Merkur given the ability to distribute the games on machines that other companies own.

The first two games covered in the agreement are Eggomatic and Starburst, but more games can be added in at a later date.

Commenting on the deal Net Ent Malta Chief of European Market Enrico Bradamante said, "I'm very excited about working together with Gauselmann. This partnership combines our online gaming experience and digital games with one of the world leaders in the land-based gaming machine industry."
