Bit8 Gains Romanian Gaming License

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Internet gaming platform Bit8 has announced that they've acquired a gaming license in Romania, allowing the company to offer its online products online.

Bit8 will use the gaming license to license its platform to licensed operators in the country, and the license is a continuation of work that the company has done in the past with Super Bet, which serves as Romania's largest gaming group.

Commenting on the deal Bit9 CEO Angelo Dalli said, "Romania is an exciting market, and we are thrilled to have received our licence from the regulator. It's testament to the quality of our platform that it passed so quickly; it has always been scalable and designed to be multi-jurisdictional. We are particularly proud of its multi-channel functionality, helping cross-sell retail players into online as shown through our partnership with Super Bet."

"This, combined with our licence, gives us a springboard to work with other operators in the country."
