Playtech Goes Live with 21+3 Blackjack Game

Online gaming software giant Playtech has announced that they've released a new blackjack game, '21+3', which is being licensed exclusively from the game's creator, Games Marketing.

The game plays like typical blackjack, but has a side bet wherein the two player cards dealt to start the hand are compared with the dealer up card and trying to form a poker hand. If the combined cards make a three of a kind, suited three of a kind, a straight, flush, or straight flush, you win. The product is being deployed across Playtech's live dealer platform, and is an online take of the popular land casino game of the same name.

Commenting on the launch Playtech's Head of Live Casino Innovation Kevin Kilminster said, "The 21+3 side bet is a great addition to the classic live casino Blackjack game and puts the excitement of poker into every hand."

"It will appeal both to those players who are familiar with either card game, as well as new customers who have never played Blackjack before, and we're delighted to offer even more chances to win."

I'm not an experienced BlackJack player and I probably couldn't comment adequately the subtleties in it but many punters love's the game so it sounds like an interesting changes that from Playtech they're trying to promote here.

I used to play Blackjack a lot but then I discovered holdem and it made more sense to me. But from experienced bj players I know that a good possibility to win is by betting on side bets, so I think this will be a good addition to their live dealer games.

Yes for me Texas Holdem is a lot more interesting as a game but there are certainly many card players who loves Blackjack, not much of a poker player though Smile

Casino Holdem is the only poker game I know, when I discovered the payout potential and just simply excitingness that slots give me, I stopped playing table games in general. But as you said, many players will love it.
