UK gaming giant Ladbrokes has announced that they have signed a sponsorship deal with the Football Association of Ireland, which will run for the next two years.
The agreement will see Ladbrokes becoming the Official Betting Partner of the FAI, which will grant Ladbrokes a large amount of exposure and marketing rights. The deal will also run through the 2018 Fifa World Cup, which will take place in Russia.
Commenting on the deal Ladbrokes Director of Ireland Jackie Murphy said, "Ladbrokes Ireland has returned to a position of growth and we believe investing in Irish sport will support the upward trajectory of the business. Football is a favourite for our staff and customers alike, so we're thrilled for our brand to be joined with such a high-quality partner in the FAI."
FAI CEO John Delaney also commented on the deal, noting: "The strength of the game in Ireland is reflected in the range of high-quality brands which have invested in football and who see football as their preferred sport."

Of course we can't compare Irish market to those in England but I think it would be great exposure for Ladbrokes at a lot cheaper price, this have to be a nice deal for the FAI too so I guess both parties would be beneficial from the deal.
