Live dealer group Evolution Gaming has announced that they have signed an agreement with the Grand Casino Bucharest in Romania, and will add a studio at the destination as a result.
The new studio will go live in September and will be broadcast from below the current gaming floor. A list of games being offered hasn't been released, but it is known that the games will be offered to casinos that have adopted Evolution's gaming platform, which can be used on both desktop and mobile devices. Traditionally, live dealer games tend to offer games such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, although Evolution can offer more to their customers.
Commenting on the deal Evolution Gaming Director of Business Development James Stern said, "The studio location at Grand Casino is perfect. It is a prestigious resort-style venue well known to players in that market, which will add credibility to the new service and help to quickly build trust."
"Obviously, we are excited to be launching an additional studio and always had the goal of being the first Live Casino provider certified to go live in this newly regulated market. With our track record of successfully deploying remote studios in other new jurisdictions such as Spain, Belgium and Italy, we are confident that we can achieve another 'first-to-market' success for licensees looking to operate in Romania."
