Internet sportsbetting site Tempobet has announced that they have signed a sponsorship deal with Middlesbrough FC, which had just recently been promoted up to the Barclays Premier League.
No details on the consideration paid for the sponsorship were available at press time, but we do know that the deal will see Tempobet having a presence inside of the Riverside stadium, which will give signage opportunities. Additional marketing benefits include use of the club's logo and the ability to craft deals that target fans of the club.
Commenting on the deal Tempobet Managing Director Mark Clayton said, "We're delighted to have teamed up with Middlesbrough on their return to the Premier League and are very excited about working closely in partnership with them. Like us, the club is ambitious and eager to do well this season. I'm confident this deal will not only be good for their supporters but will also help us promote our compelling and highly competitive sports betting offering."
Middlesbrough Head of Partnerships Lee Fryett also commented, noting: "We're pleased to welcome Tempobet to the Riverside, which is hosting Premier League football again this season."
"We're looking forward to working with the brand to help them grow awareness and spread the word about their sports betting offering."
