This story was published more than 7 years ago.

About an hour before press time, a punter playing a video slot at Party Casino hit the site's Gold Mega Progressive Jackpot for a large $1,130,664 cash prize.

We are still awaiting details on the win, but we can confirm that the jackpot was hit, and is the 40th win for the jackpot since we began tracking it in January 2010. On average, the Gold Mega pays out $938,516 every eight weeks, and the largest win on record is $1,985,920, which was hit by Cameeq8 in April 2011.

The Gold Mega Jackpot is available to be won on a variety of video slots at Party Casino, and is proprietary to the site. The jackpot is awarded randomly.

Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.

Well it's a great win and not only because the punter becomes a millionaire but it's also a lot higher win than the average one for this Jackpot, but I wonder what exactly "The jackpot is awarded randomly" means?
