GVC Holdings to Release Exclusive 'Aqua' Slot to Danske Spil

Internet betting giant GVC Holdings has announced the release of its newest 'Aqua' slot, which is an exclusive to the Danish online casino Danske Spil.

Aqua is a 5 reel video slot that is based on the 1990's pop band of the same name, which managed to sell more than 33 million records throughout the world. The game's features include progressive jackpots, wild symbols, film clips, and songs such as the band's biggest hit 'Barbie Girl'. The game is available on both desktop and mobile platforms, and can be played now at Danske Spil.

Commenting on the release Danske Spil Head of Gaming Srren Schneider said, "These titles offer our customers something totally unique in the Danish market and are amongst our most popular games. We will continue to differentiate our product offering with local exclusive themes to give us an advantage in a highly competitive market."

The fact that GVC will release the game exclusively for Danske Spil tells me how important Danish market is in fact even for a giant in the industry like GVC. And maybe it's quite logical move because of the solvency of that market.
