Gambling entrepreneur Steve Wynn has revealed that he is actively working to help bring the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas, as the door is reportedly open following the city luring in an NHL franchise to Sin City.
Major sports leagues have long avoided Las Vegas, as the city offers legalized sportsbetting, but those days are over as the NHL will be coming in 2017, and NFL football could also be headed that way as the Raiders franchise is struggling in Oakland. If the NFL were to come to Vegas, a stadium would have to be built, and there are reportedly several different sites under consideration.
Speaking about the talks Wynn told gossip site TMZ: "I'm really, really working hard to make sure that can happen. I'm really a big booster. I think having the Raiders in Las Vegas is the perfect thing to complement the city and to give everyone another excuse to come to Las Vegas. I've spoken to Mr. Davis. He's come to visit me and I let him know how I feel about it and I'm one of the people working hard to get it on."

Raiders were one of the three teams who had applications to move to LA this season, while Rams all ready approved and Chargers still hesitating it seems quite possible hat Raiders would move to Vegas next season I think. No doubt it would be great for the town which was ignored by the big professional teams till now.
