IGT and Carnival Cruise Lines in Content Deal

The next time you take a cruise you may just see a couple of popular IGT video slots in the casino, as the company has announced that they have signed a content deal with Carnival Cruise Lines and will bring a new Wheel of Fortune slot to the ships as a result.

The deal will see the new Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond 3D slots offered on the cruise line's ships. The slot is based on the popular game show of the same name, and will include 3D technology to pop out at players. The new game comes after a previous series of Wheel of Fortune slots proved to be extremely popular among vacationers.

Commenting on the deal IGT Senior VP of Sales, North America Gaming & Interactive Nick Khin said, "The cruise line industry debut of IGT Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond 3D Video Slots and our Spin N Sail marketing promotion with Carnival Cruise Line exemplify how we work closely with our valued customers to provide unique and exciting experiences for players. This agreement represents another milestone for IGT Wheel of Fortune slots, now celebrating 20 years and more than 200 themes that players have enjoyed around the world."

Carnival's Senior Director of North American Operations, Global Casino Operations David Thomas also commented, noting: "We're pleased to add these exciting and groundbreaking Wheel of Fortune 3D slots to our shipboard casinos, part of our year-long Wheel of Fortune celebration. IGT is a valued partner and these new Wheel of Fortune 3D slot machines capture the spirit and fun of the world's most popular game show in a fun and innovative way."
