Gaming firm Boylesports has announced that it has purchased four Hacketts betting shops throughout Ireland, which it plans to re-brand in order to strengthen its operations.
The group picked up Hacketts' operations in Tipperary, Kilkenny, Laois and Limerick within Ireland, and will bring their total Irish shops to 212 with the additions. Hacketts has been liquidated after they filed for bankruptcy. They have been struggling for several years, and were forced to sell off a variety of shops to Paddy Power a few years back while also shuttering some extra locations.
The new shops will be strapped with Boylesports' logos and integrated into the company's operations.
The purchase was also met with news that Boylesports could end up purchasing more retail shops that will have the be put on the auction block should Ladbrokes and Coral merge. Those shops are located within the United Kingdom, and it is thought that 400 shops would have to be sold off in order to gain regulatory approval.

4 new shops it maybe not a great figure but I guess this shows Boyleports growth as a brand particularly in Ireland. Certainly one of the solid companies in this branch in UK.
