Internet betting compliance group eCOGRA has announced that they have signed a four-year contract with Danske Spil A/S, and will see the group providing certification services as a result.
The deal will see quarterly and annual audits being performed by the company to ensure compliance with Danish law. Danske Spil serves as Denmark's largest gambling firm, providing land and online casino games as well as lottery and sportsbetting services in Denmark's territories.
Commenting on the agreement eCOGRA Co-COO Shaun McCallaghan said, "eCOGRA currently provides certification services to a third of the online licensees in Denmark, as well as numerous software providers and sub-contractors, and the opportunity to extend our work following a highly competitive tender process to an organisation of this calibre in such an effective regulatory jurisdiction is a privilege."
eCOGRA has grown throughout the years to become one of the most trusted gaming compliance groups in the world. The company audits and provides certificates for some of the world's largest gaming brands, including 32Red, 888, and bet365.
