Betclic Re-enters Belgian Market

This story was published more than 6 years ago.

Internet betting group Betclic Everest has announced that they are gearing up to re-enter the Belgian online gaming market after they obtained a proper betting license through the Belgian Gambling Commission.

The company had previously operated in Belgium, albeit in a grey-market fashion before it dropped out four years ago due to changing laws. Betclic had been previously blacklisted and fined by the BGC, and it seemed that the company may be forbidden from obtaining a license in the country of 11 million people.

Betclic will be operating in the country using the Betclic.de domain, and will offer sportsbetting and online casino game action to punters.

Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.

It's certainly the proper way for the company to operate on the Belgian market and I'm sure they will benefit from the decision to be back on that market. They are decent sports book but the most important is that the Betclic name is all ready we'll known in Belgium.
