Malta Suspends Gaming License of GLX Services

This story was published more than 7 years ago.

This week the Malta Gaming Authority announced that it has suspended the gaming license of GLX Services effective April 7th, 2016.

The regulator did not reveal why the reasoning behind the suspension, but speculation is that the suspension is related to BetMod90.com, which the MGA says is "false and misleading". GLX's associated betting sites were operating in the Italian betting market, and it is thought that they were related to recent closures of illegal sites operating in the country.

The sites associated with GLX may not state they are associated with the MGA, and players owed money by the site can send an email to [email protected] with their contact information and proof of balance in order to have a claim submitted.

Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.

I think MGA won't suspend any site just like that and probably there is some huge violations from the gambling' company's side. The good thing is that there is a way punters to be compensated.
