This week the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma announced that it will be launching an international online betting site after a US judge ruled in favor of the operation.
The site will allow punters to place wagers on casino games, and comes after the tribe went to court seeking permission to operate the site pokertribe.com, and last week a judge ruled that the plan can go forward. The tribe will have its base in Perkins, Oklahoma, and will be partially backed by entrepreneur Fred Khalilian and his company University Entertainment Group, with tax revenues generated by the site going to the state.
Speaking about his tribe's decision to launch the site Iowa Tribe Chairman Bobby Walkup said, "We were able to see this as positive opportunity for our tribes, including present and future generations of tribal members."
Casino Listings will follow the launch of this site and will update our story as more development arise.
