This week online betting site Golden Euro Casino announced that they have opted to switch their licensing from Curacao to Antigua.
Golden Euro was founded in 2012 and held a license from Curacao since that time. The move to an Antigua license will do little to change the operations of the casino, which is widely regarded as being a good site to play at, as the site offers excellent promotions and has a solid payout history. The casino recently underwent a facelift, and now offers RTG slots, table games, and video poker titles via their downloadable and instant play platforms, and mobile play is also supported.
Commenting on the switch Golden Euro manager Robert Miller said, "Antigua is well known as a reputable licensing jurisdiction. We want our customers to know that they are playing in a secure and trustworthy environment with a commitment to fair gaming. This License indicates the transparency in our operations and the security of our gaming software."

I don't think switching the licence from one country to another would have a great effect over the punters but like their manager said this could probably increase the trust in to their brand.
I think that as far as it is improving their casino, it is a good decision. It is hard to find good and reputable RTG software powered casinos so I am happy to read that. Golden Euro casino has always been solid in my eyes and I am happy that they are trying to improve even more.
