Taiwan Busts Major Gambling Operation

Over the weekend police in Taiwan broke up a major gambling ring, revealing that 52 people were taken into custody and more than $60.49 million USD was sized.

The raids came after a lengthy period of surveillance and required more than 300 police officers to go to the 55 spots. The ringleader of the ring is said to be Kao Hung-yu and the crime ring is thought to have used a cloud-based betting system operating out of the Philippines.
