Ontario Set to Introduce Mobile Betting App

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has announced that they will soon be introducing a new mobile betting app for its online casino PlayOLG.

The new app will allow punters to partake in slots, table games, and poker through their smartphones and tablets, giving players the chance to get a full casino experience anywhere they have a cellular connection in the province.

Thus far online gambling has been a success for Ontario, as the province has estimated that PlayOLG will bring in $89 million CDN for the year, with profits of roughly $34 million CDN. Additionally, the company has revealed that more players are attempting to purchase their lottery tickets through online channels.

No launch date has been given for the app, but the app is due for release imminently.
