This week a man who is facing charges of running an online gambling ring surrendered himself to police in New York after spending two months as a fugitive.

Andres Arriaga from Santa Clarita, California was one of 17 people indicted in operating the online gambling operation, which generated cash revenues of more than $30 million. He was indicted in late October, but was away from home and ended up slipping away for the next few months.

If he is found guilty of the charge of operating an illegal gambling business and associated charges Arriaga could face up to 25 years in prison.
