In the wee hours of this morning a punter playing the Playtech video slot Jackpot Giant won the game's progressive jackpot for a staggering $6,420,011 cash prize.
We are still awaiting details on the win, but we can confirm that the win did indeed occur, and is the first ever that we have recorded for the game since we started tracking it in August 2015. The game's progressive jackpot is won when a player can unveil 5 wild symbols on the game's first payline.
The Jackpot Giant slot transports players to a tropical island that houses the titular giant. The game features wild symbols, free spins, stacked wilds, and the large progressive jackpot, which seeds at $100,000.

UPDATE: We can confirm that the win occurred at Gala Bingo, and took place on a mobile device, the largest-ever win on a mobile device. The winner got the jackpot on just a £4 wager and hails from Glasgow where she serves as a librarian.
Speaking about her big win the librarian said, "I picked up my mobile and started playing while I was watching TV. Minutes later I saw a huge string of numbers coming up and realised I'd hit the jackpot. I was simply blown away and couldn't believe I'd won. It's still sinking in and my family and I are still in a complete state of shock."

Yes that is a huge win. Congrats to the winner. This is agreat slot and i also played every now and then. But lady luck did not show up for me 🙂. When my estimations are correct this win should be far more than the average. I estimated the probabilty to be 1 in 10 million spins (counted 200 wild for line 1 in 1000 spins, which makes prbabilty of 4% for a wild to show up at one of the 5 places along line 1. 1/0.04^5 makes roughly 10 million). With a contribution rate of 3% and 10€ per spin the avarage should be around 1.2 million.
I just played this game in Fun mode in Betfair, a few weeks ago.
The game itself is very boring and the reels moves very slow and weird way.
But, anyway, it is for a huge Jackpot 🙂
