Ukraine Considering Liberalizing Betting Industry

This week the Ukraine Finance Ministry has announced that they are proposing changes to the country's gambling industry with the possibility of liberalizing the games.

The proposal would establish a national service for gambling and would issue licenses to those can pony up a large €2 million application fee and pay €1.5 million annually. Additionally, a lottery license can obtained should the new measure passes.
