Teenage Hacker Caused DDoS Attack on Internet Casino

This week a teenager from the United Kingdom was sentenced to a 12 month suspended sentence after he struck an online gambling site with a Distributed Denial of Service attack.

Max Dean Whitehouse attacked an unidentified online casino site two years ago and was given the suspended sentence after he plead guilty to the crime. His attack cost the site £18,000, and the youngster was caught after he took to his mother's Twitter account to boast of the attacks.

While handing out the sentence a Nottingham Crown Court Judge told the defendant that he needed to get out away from his computer and have a real life.
