This week the New York State Gambling Commission Facility Location Board revealed that they have approved three new land casinos that will be offered in the Empire State.
The three new casinos will be located in Seneca, Schenectady, and Sullivan counties, which are in the northeast sections of the state. The destinations will be owned by Empire Resorts, Peninsula Pacific, and Rush Street Gaming. The first casino to open will be the $425 million Lago Resort, which is set to open in 2017. The $630 million Montreign Resort Casino and $300 million Rivers Casino will open in 2018.
