Czech Government Moves to Restrict 200 Gaming Licenses on Bars

This week the Czech government moved to pull the licenses of roughly 200 gaming bars in Prague, as a measure has been introduced that would tighten the country's gambling rules.

The measure was introduced by Andrej Babiš and would limit the number of gambling venues that can offer gaming services. The move is not without opposition, as the Gaming Industry Union has warned that such a move will sway the businesses toward online betting instead.
