The Netherlands gaming regulator Kansspelautoriteit revealed that it has placed the largest gaming fine in the country's history on Redcorp S.A. and Bluemay Enterprises NV, the operators of Red Slots and 7Red Casino, among others.

The fine was laid down after the regulator conducted an investigation between November 2014 and March 2015, indicating that Red Slots was promoting the Dutch websites and were targeting Dutch punters while being an unlicensed organization. The investigation came to its conclusion based on the fact that the websites offered Dutch flags and Dutch language support, while also offering residents of the Netherlands a €3 bonus for joining the site.

The Kansspelautoriteit previously fined the group €13,000 in October 2014, but decided to fine each group €240,000 for their continued violations.

The Netherlands is working on regulating online gambling and instituting ISP blocking for blacklisted websites.
