Italy is expecting to ramp up its gaming industry a bit next year, as gaming regulators will reportedly offer 120 new gaming licenses beginning in 2016.
Several sets of gaming licenses are sex to expire midway through next year, and Italy is intent on giving existing betting operators the chance to renew their licenses while also bringing about new business. The pricing structures for licenses will be as follows:
New gaming licenses will cost €200,000
Betting shop licenses will run €32,000 and there will be 10,000 new licenses
Automated betting corner licenses will run €18,000 and there will be 5,000 licenses available
