Amaya May Launch Sportsbetting Site

Internet betting firm Amaya Gaming's subsidiary firm The Rational Group has announced that they are gearing up to launch a sportsbetting site after it purchased a variety of domains.

Internet gambling industry site Gambling Invest reported that The Rational Group has purchased the domain, and to help with their burgeoning sportsbetting brand. The acquisitions come months after the company purchased,, and for four-figure sums.

The article on the Gambling Invest site revealed the sales, noting: "In a separate private transaction verified by DNJournal this week, gambling domains investor Reginald Hudson II sold for $10,000 to IP Twins, a French domain registrar that acquired the domain on behalf of Rational Group."

"IP Twins had already assisted Rational in the acquisition of, acquired in a private transaction in June this year, as well as of and, acquired through domain marketplace Sedo, respectively for $2,177 in May and $1,995 in June."

The Rational Group has been trying to expand their services since they were acquired by Amaya, as the company's poker sites PokerStars and Full Tilt have already begun offering standard casino games such as slots.
