The Independent Gambling Authority in Southern Australia may be gearing up to introduce a series of tougher gambling regulations concerning online betting sites.

The group is reportedly considering making online operators disclose all "spotter" fees to players as well as immediately processing withdrawals in player accounts.

Commenting on the matter South Australia Business Services and Consumers Minister Gail Gago said, "In some cases, account holders are offered credit ranging from $200 to tens of thousands with no consideration given to the person's circumstances, their capacity to pay or their wellbeing."

Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.
