Internet betting site bet365 is reportedly mulling a legal challenge to the license revocation and blacklisting of its site by the Romanian government.
This week it was revealed that the Romanian government had revoked bet365's gaming license and blacklisted the site, despite the company paying millions of Euros in back taxes which was a condition for the group getting a license through the country. The decision to block the company was a surprise to bet365's management team, as they felt they were acting legally.
The decision to challenge the ruling will also likely be pressed by bwin.party, who also had their sites blacklisted after paying €8 million in back taxes and applying for a gaming license.
