Internet gaming firm 1x2 Gaming and Leap Gaming have entered into a deal that will see the deployment of a new virtual sportsbetting product that will be distributed through 1x2.
The deal will see Leap's innovative 3D graphics integrated into horse racing, greyhound racing, and the titles Speedway and Velodrome. A new game dubbed Tennis and Trotting is due for release later this year, while a football game will be deployed early next year. The games all have realistic visual and audio aspects, and the games can be played via desktop and mobile devices.
Commenting on the deal 1x2 Gaming Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Reid said, "I am proud to be a part of such an innovative and ground breaking project alongside our trusted friends at Leap Gaming. This deal has allowed for our respective companies to focus on what we both do best in order to create a product that is set to revolutionise the virtual sports medium. The addition of a graphical Virtual sports product is a huge step for 1X2gaming, and opens up a new & exciting frontier for us as a company. We feel that this product is perfectly complementary to data-driven Virtual Sports games, which have been hugely successful since launch in 2002."
Leap Gaming CEO Yariv Lissauer added: "We are truly excited about this new partnership with 1X2gaming which allowed for the release of our mutual virtual sport turnkey solution. The solution is the most wholesome VS application available in the market today and will continue to constantly evolve, while introducing genuine innovation to this domain. This partnership releases massive synergies as it allows both companies to play to their respective strengths: Leap - it's superb graphic and client side development capabilities; and 1X2gaming - its robust server side, data-driven VS management and extensive distribution network."
