Canadian betting giant Amaya has announced that they have re-branded their Victiv fantasy sports betting firm to StarsDraft, which went live earlier this week.
Amaya had previously purchased Victiv and has kept the majority of the company's staff on, including an experienced management team to try to gain an important foothold to the booming daily fantasy sports sector. The site is active in the United States, save for Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, and Washington, where the activity is either considered illegal or is in a legal grey area. Canadian players are currently also excluded.
The website is currently allowing players to build teams in the sports of NFL football, PGA golf, MLB baseball, NHL hockey, and NBA basketball, and offers up prizes of up to $100,000.
Amaya is hoping that current customers of PokerStars and Full Tilt will eventually be able to log into the StarsDraft market, using a single login to access all of its betting products.
