Internet betting site Guts has announced that it has selected Microgaming to provide its online poker services to customers.

The deal is an extension of a previous agreement between the two groups, as Guts already offers casino games through Microgaming's Quickfire software. It is expected that the addition of Microgaming's poker will bring in more players and broaden the scope of Guts' poker offering. The new service will be available via both desktop and mobile platforms.

Commenting on the addition, the CEO of Guts parent company Gaming Innovation Group Robin Reed said: “Gaming Innovation Group originated from the poker industry thus this beautiful game is in our DNA. We are thrilled by the prospects of building a great player experience by promoting poker at the intersection of sports and social entertainment."

"Microgaming is an institution in online poker, and is continuing to display its commitment to the game through rapid product innovations and a popular live tour.”

Microgaming's CEO Roger Raatgever added: “An existing customer of our Quickfire Casino product, we’re delighted to be extending our relationship with the Gaming Innovation Group through our poker platform. The Guts brand is a welcome addition to the MPN.”
