Caesars Interactive Entertainment Posts Huge Revenue Increases

The interactive division of Caesars posted its second quarter financial results, showing growth in several key verticals.

Key financial indicators for the second quarter of 2015 were:

  • At $186.2 million net revenue was up 28 percent on a y-o-y basis;

  • Adjusted EBITDA increased almost 60 percent to $69.5 million;

  • A loss of $4.4 million last year in net income from operations was turned around to a gain of $54.3 million in the current quarter;

  • Net H1-2015 revenue is currently $362.8 million, up 35 percent y-o-y, with adjusted EBITDA up 74.5 percent to $132.1 million.

The company's positive performance was attributed to large growth in mobile and social gaming circles, and Caesars Interactive says it will continue to focus on these verticals moving forward.
