$2,973,077 Spamalot Holy Grail Jackpot Won

This story was published more than 8 years ago.

Last night a punter playing Playtech's Spamalot Holy Grail video slot took home the game's progressive jackpot for $2,973,077.

Based on the classic comedy film by Monty Python, the Spamalot Holy Grail Jackpot is won when players go through the multi-step process where they ascend levels to have a chance to win the Holy Grail or the Slightly Less Jackpot.

A representative of Casino Bellini came forward with a statement that the jackpot was won by one of their customers, a woman named Natalia. For her sake, we sincerely hope that the casino decides to waive its ridiculous $9,990 per month progressive jackpot withdrawal limit, because at that rate Natalia will not receive her last payment until the year 2040, assuming the casino still exists then. Once again we urge progressive jackpot players to choose carefully when playing at Playtech casinos, as a large number of them have these unconscionable clauses hidden in their terms and conditions.

The only other win in this game's history was recorded in 2012 at Winner Casino, when a player hit the game's jackpot for a whopping $1,078,219.

Congrats to the winner.
That is really a life changing win.
Hope the casino will pay her all the money at once.
