Roy Keane Sues Paddy Power Over Ad

Football legend Roy Keane has announced that he has sued internet betting firm Paddy Power over using his image in an advertisement.

The offending ad saw Paddy Power using Keane's likeness as a character from the film Braveheart on a billboard during a Euro 2016 match between Ireland and Scotland. The billboard played on the Scottish referendum that rejected independence at the time, with the slogan, "You may take our points but at least we have our freedom (ya wee pussies)."

No word has been given on the amount of damages Keane is seeking, but Casino Listings will update this story as more developments arise.

In my short time being around the online betting world I have come to the conclusion that Paddy Power's marketing group is the Howard Stern of its industry. I love it.
