MetroPlay-666Bet Placed in Compulsory Liquidation

This story was published more than 9 years ago.

The Court of Alderney has issued a ruling which ordered the liquidation of MetroPlay-666Bet following the company's collapse that began earlier this year.

The ruling was made on July 2nd, and comes after the company was found to have committed millions of pounds in fraud, and left its players with unpaid funds. It is currently unknown whether or not the liquidation will mean that players will be repaid or not.

The repayment situation has been a confusing one for MetroPlay-666Bet players, as the UK Gambling Commission was originally working with the group to facilitate payments to players, but the liquidation leaves the regulator with no way to advise players as to whether their balances will be paid out.
