The British Columbia Lottery Corporation has released its latest annual report on the province's betting industry, and revealed that online gambling numbers grew by nearly 20% when compared to the same period last year.
The province's PlayNow website had revenues of CDN $109.1 million in revenues from more than 360,000 active players. Over the year the site launched 19 new mobile betting games were launched, as well as a sportsbook that they launched in conjunction with Starlight Casino.
Thus far punters at PlayNow appear to be having a positive experience, as the site has a 78% satisfaction rate.
The total revenues brought in by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation for the year was CDN $1.25 billion, up 7%. Player win on average was up to CDN $482, $28 higher than last year. VIP table game revenue was also up 22% to CDN $555.1 million.
