Gambling giant Scientific Games has announced that it has signed a 3 year contract with Norway's national lottery Norsk Tipping and will provide instant lottery games to the operative as a result.
The deal is an extension of a current deal that is in place that sees Scientific Games providing Norsk Tipping with the game and retail technology. The two have a relationship dating back to 1995.
Commenting on the deal Norsk Tipping CEO Torbjorn Almlid said, "Our focus will be on assessing how we can expand our instant game portfolio and segment our retailer network as a means of growing the instant product category."
Norsk Tipping is the national lottery of Norway and offers lottery, scratch tickets, sports betting, and VLTs to customers. The company's products are sold at more than 4,000 retailers throughout the country.
