Internet fantasy sports betting firm FanDuel has announced that they have signed sponsorship deals with thirteen different NBA basketball franchises, giving them exclusive marketing rights.
The deals will give FanDuel in-arena signage for all of the teams involved in the deals, and will also include internet, TV, and radio spots for the firm. Teams that signed deals with FanDuel are: Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz.
Commenting on the deal FanDuel Co-Founder and CEO Nigel Eccles said, “Partnering with these NBA organizations has been an incredible asset to FanDuel's growth and business. NBA fans comprise a younger, mobile-centric demographic, looking for new ways to engage with their favorite sport, teams and athletes throughout the duration of the season, which is exactly what they get on FanDuel.”
"We're going to keep partnering with franchises that recognize FanDuel's ability to keep fans in their seat with their eyes glued to every game because they have a player on their fantasy team that night.”
