South Carolina Senator and anti-online gambling activist Lindsey Graham has announced that he is running for President of the United States.

Graham has made waves in the gambling industry as he has come out in support of re-instituting the Wire Act to clamp down on internet gambling, a move that puts him in cahoots with Las Vegas Sands owner Sheldon Adelson, who has made many political contributions to Graham in the past. Graham currently has legislation pending to ban online gambling in the Senate, which he has dubbed the "Restoration of America's Wire Act" bill.

Commenting on his bid Graham said, "I'm ready. I want to be president to defeat the enemies that are trying to kill us."

Casino Listings will update this story as more details on Graham's run arise.
