Internet poker giant PokerStars has announced that Net Entertainment's series of games has begun going live on its software, bringing to fruition an agreement that began with the group's sister company Full Tilt adding Net Ent's titles.
The introduction of casino games to PokerStars' software is a new take and is being rolled out across the European regulated market. Currently PokerStars carries licenses in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, and the United Kingdom, giving Net Entertainment a sizable base to distribute games to.
The appeal to Net Entertainment in this deal is that it brings a new type of player to its games, who otherwise may have avoided casino gambling to play online poker.
Games are currently being transitioned and can be played using PokerStars' latest software update.
