Police in Malaysia conducted an online gambling raid on Monday in the Petaling Jaya region of the Selangor province, arresting 18 people in the process.
The raid was carried out by the Special Task Force for Anti-Vice, Gaming and Gangsterism and saw police took 18 people into custody. Six of those arrested were foreign nationals. Other property was also seized, such as five tablets, seven modems, twelve cell phones, sixty four computers and cash.
The owner of the betting spots is still on the loose and is being sought by law enforcement.
