Internet betting software developer 1x2 Gaming has announced that they have obtained a Class 4 gaming license through the jurisdiction of Malta, allowing the group to enhance its footprint in the European jurisdiction.
The license will allow 1x2 Gaming to provide its games and services to casinos licensed in Malta, thus giving the operator an opportunity to expand its offerings, which consist of table games, slots, and virtual sports products.
Commenting on the licensing 1x2 Gaming Malta’s Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Reid said, “We are delighted to be officially licensed by the MGA. This represents an important milestone in the company’s history. While suppliers have scrambled for a UK license of late, we have been regulated there for many years, and have now added Malta to assist in growing our presence internationally. We have been impressed with the setup in Malta and look forward to working closely with the MGA and the licensees in the jurisdiction going forwards.”
