Troubled online gaming firm MetroPlay has revealed that they will begin processing player payments that they owe to punters this week, hopefully wrapping up a tumultuous period for the firm.
MetroPlay had its license suspended by the UK Gambling Commission recently, and the company has failed to pay players the money that they are owed. The company temporarily shut down their sites, and posted the following notice to visitors:
"On Monday 20th April we will be providing all customers with details of how they can process their withdrawals from our site.
"We sincerely apologise for the delay which has been due to matters outside of our control.
"Thank you for your continued patience."
MetroPlay and 666Bet launched their sites last year to great fanfare. The company secured high-end sponsorships and garnered a bunch of press before their suspension.
