A disgruntled man killed himself in an Easter buffet line at the M Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas following a long feud with the resort concerning the buffet.
The suicide occurred when 53 year old John Noble shot himself in line at the buffet, causing two other injuries and a car fire in the casino's parking garage. The man reportedly had a long feud with the casino, as he was granted free daily buffet meals for life in September 2010, but had the prize revoked in 2013 after he harassed female employees.
Prior to his suicide Noble mailed the Las Vegas Review Journal a stack of "evidence", which contained 300 pages of documents, photos, and a DVD. Among the documents was Noble's plan to off himself for the grievance.
“He just felt like he had been wronged in the situation because he had won the contest to get the free meals and now he wasn’t getting them," said Adam Kealoha Causley, an editor at the newspaper.
Police have not identified the suicide victim, but the Las Vegas Review Journal said they were able to positively identify the man, given the past history of the case.
