Police in China have arrested more than 140 people since the Chinese Ministry of Public Security began a crackdown on illegal gambling in the country.
The crackdown on gambling began in March and has seen 1,980 cases alongside 120 raids on gangs. Some of the raids reportedly were cross border operations that focused on offshore casinos.
Alongside the arrests more than $817,000 USD in cash was seized.
