A day after it was reported that Pennsylvania's bill to legalize online gambling would only cover online poker, the bill's author has revealed it does indeed cover casino games as well.
Representative Ed Payne amended the bill to to cover online casino games on HB649 to cover all gaming that is provided "...through the use of communications technology".
It is unknown whether or not the bill will have a decent chance at success, but given the revenue being pulled in from neighboring New Jersey there is a chance that Pennsylvania wants to try to keep as much money in their state as possible.
