Nevada/Delaware Shared Player Pools Begin

The states of Nevada and Delaware have announced that their interstate online poker compact has gone into full effect, with the states sharing player pools.

The launch occurred on Tuesday and will see increased amounts of players for the regulated online poker sites operating in each state. Since both states launched online poker operations over a year ago, the results have been disappointing, and it is hoped that a larger player base will help prop up the results.

The biggest potential benefactor is Caesars-888, whose World Series of Poker site in Nevada easily has the largest brand in poker.
