11 Arrested in Chinese Gambling Raid

Police in the Liaoning province of China have conducted an online sportsbetting raid, arresting 11 foreign nationals and seizing 610,0000 yuan in cash.

The raid occurred in the city of Dalian and saw police make the arrests, seize the cash, and take evidence which included 21 computers. It is thought that the ring operated for quite some time, generating more than 3,000 clients and more than 57 million yuan ($9.1 million) in turnover.

The investigation is reportedly still ongoing, and nobody associated with the crime has plead guilty as of press time.
